We begin the season with a wonderful exhibition by Pedro Peña Gil and his latest series of works, entitled “Museum Halls”. In this series, Pedro creates a mysterious and seductive barrier between the main image, the museum hall, composed of works of art and visitors, and the colored stains he generates using resins of different tones. Inviting us to make a new reflection on the history of art and the position of contemporary artists in front of the great wonders housed in museums.

As a museum lover, I greatly enjoy the images that Pedro captures during his visits to great museums on his travels and then transforms using color, hiding the works of art behind vibrant layers. In fact, I play a game with Pedro to guess in which museum he took the image he is working on, and I challenge you to try to figure it out too.
