The exhibition begins with the 84.85 m² of our main hall. In parallel, the title of each work reflects the technical and urban language of the series: each piece is named after the square meters of its surface.

Gerard Fernández Rico’s process explores the boundaries between functionality and aesthetics, with industrial materials and architectural structures as his primary focus.

The series we present takes urban planning maps as its point of reference. The systems of distribution and organization within our cities are transformed into plastic geometries that, in his works, come to life through shifting chromatic surfaces. The color changes depending on the viewing angle and the light’s incidence—much like a glass-covered building that evolves throughout the day.

A succession of infinite planes and colors confronts the viewer in a symbolic journey, inviting us to reflect on our surroundings and the possibilities they offer beyond those commonly accepted.
